Privacy policy

Last updated: 5 June 2026 · Floral Profit BV

Floral Profit takes your privacy seriously. We only collect the data we need to provide the service, we never sell anything on, and we do not do advertising tracking. In this policy we explain which personal data we process, why, and what rights you have.

01Introduction

This privacy policy applies to the Floral Profit website and to the use of the Floral Profit software. The controller responsible for your data is:

Controller

Floral Profit BV

Wellensiekstraat 4, 6718 XZ Ede

Chamber of Commerce (KvK): 97537837

Email: privacy@floralprofit.com

02Which data we process

Depending on how you use Floral Profit, we process the following data:

Data you provide yourself

  • Name, email address, and the name of your flower shop (when signing up or via the contact form).
  • Optionally a phone number and the subject of your question.
  • Account and subscription details, such as your login and chosen subscription.

Data from your use of the service

  • Purchasing, price, and margin data that you enter in the app or that comes in through connections with your suppliers.
  • Technical data needed to make the service work, such as login details and error messages.

Payment data

Payments go through an external payment provider. We do not process full credit card or bank details ourselves; we only receive confirmation of a successful payment.

03Purposes and legal basis

We only process your data for clear purposes, and always on a legal basis under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

  • To provide the service and manage your account (performance of the contract).
  • To answer your questions that you ask via the contact form or by email (legitimate interest).
  • To improve the service and keep it working properly (legitimate interest).
  • To comply with legal obligations, such as keeping invoices (legal obligation).
  • To inform you about important changes to the service. We only send commercial emails with your consent or within the legal frameworks.

04Cookies

This website places no tracking or advertising cookies. The only thing we store in your browser is your language preference, so the site opens in your own language next time.

For website statistics we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It works without cookies, collects no personal data and does not track individual visitors. We protect our forms with Netlify's built-in spam filtering and a hidden honeypot field.

05Sharing with third parties

We never sell your data. We only share it with parties that help us provide the service, and only to the extent necessary. We enter into processing agreements with these processors. For example:

  • A hosting provider for running the software and the website.
  • A payment provider for processing payments.
  • An email and support service for our communication with you.
  • The auctions and suppliers with which you activate a connection, for exchanging purchasing data.

We only pass on data to other parties if we are legally required to do so.

06Retention periods

We do not keep your data longer than necessary. We keep account and usage data for as long as you have a subscription. After termination we delete or anonymise it within a reasonable period, unless we are required to keep it longer.

We keep invoices and administrative records as required by law (in the Netherlands, in principle seven years). We keep messages sent via the contact form for as long as needed to handle your question properly.

07Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, such as encrypted connections, access control, and regular updates. Should something go wrong despite our efforts, we act in accordance with the applicable data breach notification obligation.

08Your rights

Under the GDPR you have a number of rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access to the data we hold about you.
  • Correction of inaccurate data.
  • Erasure of your data ('the right to be forgotten').
  • Restriction of processing and objection to processing.
  • Portability: receiving your data in a common format.
  • Withdrawing consent that you gave earlier.

Would you like to exercise one of these rights? Send a message to privacy@floralprofit.com. We respond within the statutory period.

09Changes

We may adjust this privacy policy from time to time, for example if we expand our service or if the law requires it. You can always find the most recent version on this page, with the date of the last change at the top.

10Contact and complaints

Do you have a question about your privacy or about this policy? Feel free to contact us via the contact form or by email.

If you disagree with how we handle your data, we hope you will first work it out with us. You also always have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, in the Netherlands the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
